Today (March 29), Motown released the previously unheard Marvin Gaye album You’re The Man. The 17-track album was originally slated as the follow up to Gaye’s triumphant 1971 release What’s Going On. The songs were recorded in Los Angeles and Detroit back in 1972. They were more recently mixed by Amy Winehouse producer Salaam Remi. The album includes new versions of “My Last Chance,” “Symphony” and “I’d Give My Life for You.” The LP marks the first time these Gaye tracks have been released together.
