Brazilian artist Eduardo Kobra has painted a massive 27 Club mural in New York’s East Village. The mural is in the Lower East Side at the corner of Rivington and Forsyth and features split images of Janis Joplin and Kurt Cobain, Jim Morrison and Jimi Hendrix, and a profile of Amy Winehouse. Kobra is the same artist responsible for the split Michael Jackson mural. Around the corner from the 27 Club mural is another painting by Kobra about gun violence. Check out his work here and more images of the murals on Brooklyn Vegan.
