Pop star Justin Timberlake brought his Man of the Woods tour to Spectrum Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. To celebrate Timberlake’s January show, Spectrum Center GM and svp of arena & event operations for Hornets Sports and Entertainment Donna Julian presented Timberlake with a custom pair of Jordan 1 sneakers by the “original shoe chef” Doug Romer. “I wanted these shoes to really represent Justin Timberlake and be something he would wear rather than put in storage somewhere. I started with an Air Jordan 1 and completely deconstructed it and tossed everything other than the sole.  I then took a pair of Levi’s jeans and flannel shirt, camouflage material, lambskin with the wool still on it and bison.  Everything other than the bison is represented in his Levi’s collab and thought with the ruggedness of the bison worked well to represent the Man of the Woods Tour,” said Romer. “I brought the whole package together by making a wooden shoe box with the Man of the Woods logo as well as the Spectrum Center logo and concert date on the lid.”
