The Peanuts Gang is headed out on the road for a North American Christmas show. A Charlie Brown Christmas Live On Stage launches this weekend on Nov. 10 in Burnsville, Minnesota at the Ames Center.

The over 60 city tour will feature live actors portraying the beloved characters on stage. The story is inspired by the annual Peanuts Christmas special. This Emmy and Peabody award-winning story by Charles M. Schulz has been a longstanding tradition, warming the hearts of millions of fans since it first aired on television over 50 years ago. Now, the live on stage adaptation of the classic animated television special brings all your favorite characters to life – all set to the unforgettable sounds of the Vince Guaraldi musical score.

End of an Era Box

Audiences favorite scenes from the animated special will appear on the tour along with extended story lines and details. The show also includes an intermission and, after the final bow, the show crescendos into a celebration of song as the audience is invited to join the Peanuts gang in singing holiday favorites.

The tour features two companies that will travel throughout the 2018 holiday season with Tony Ponella and Jack Flatley playing the iconic title character of Charlie Brown. Rounding out the cast are Aidan Cleary, Kevin Dort, Rebecca Kostell, Brianna Barnes, Matthew Hooper, Yochai Greenfield, JP Coletta, James Rushin, Bridget Allison Davis, Ari Raskin, Hannah-Jo Weisberg, Erica Wilpon, Carrie Lyn Brandon, Melissa Boatright, Drew Bastian, Josh Roberts, Ross Kratter, Shane Aaserud, Jocelyn Lonquist and Stefanie Miller.
