Jimi heads up booking for McMenamin’s Crystal Ballroom, Edgefield, Lola’s Room, Boon’s Treasury and White Eagle saloon and helps book the company’s collection of 65 signature hotels, pubs and breweries. Few companies capture the ethos of Bridge City like the one founded by brothers Mike and Brian McMenamin in 1985. Besides its own microbrew line with beers Jack Rabbit Porter and Terminator Stout, McMenamins owns a number of historic properties like the Kennedy School, a 99-year-old elementary academy converted into a boutique hotel with 57-classroom themed guest rooms and a movie theater in the building’s old auditorium.
Mike oversees one of the largest touring divisions inside the world’s largest concert promoter. Besides managaing Live Nation’s large cache of touring arena shows, he also watches over the company’s growing network of arenas. Since he’s joined Live Nation, he’s helped sign booking deals with Conseco Field House in Indy, Time Warner Cable Arena in Charlotte and SAP Center in Silicon Valley.
It was a big festival summer for Ali, who’s artists The Head and the Heart and Niko Case landed Coachella gigs, while Glen Hansard from the Swell Season and the Oscar-winning film “Once” is set to play Lollapalooza. The C3 Fest will have her back in her hometown – Ali got her start in Chicago at legendary label Touch & Go Records.
Besides helping to organize and book Coachella, Rick is charged with generating new business for Goldenvoice. Last summer that meant a West Coast arena tour with Eric Church, a run for Dutch DJ Avicii and the management contract for the Shrine Auditorium in LA. Rick has a long history in live music, working for both Live Nation and Bill Graham Presents. This year he helped rolled out First City Festival, a new event in Monterey.
