Pollstar just announced the nominees for their 30th anniversary awards show Feb. 13 the Beverly Hilton in LA, and this year’s show features some fun new honors that we wish we would have thought up.

This year’s awards include 40 categories, everything from Best Pop Tour to Arena of the Year, but it’s their new irreverent categories that add a fun dimension to the evening. This year Pollstar is rolling out its Best Hang award with nominees that include the Forum Club, ACL Music Festival and the promoter bar inside the BOK Center.

There’s an Unavailable Award with nominees that include Johnny Beach at Bowery Presents and WME’s Jay Williams, as well as a Most Frequently Name-Dropped award and a Most Terrifying Agent award. Our favorite is the Most Dreaded Phone Call award, with nominees Irving Azoff, Paradigm’s Aaron Pinkus, WME’s Kirk Sommer,  Don Fox of Beaver Productions, Gerry Barad at Live Nation, agent Howard Rose and  CAA’s Jeff Frasco.
