ANDREW DRESKIN SELLS $3.1M WORTH OF EVENTBRITE STOCK
It’s been six months since Eventbrite went public and employees are now able to sell of their stock in the company. Ticketfly founder Andrew Dreskin has sold 150,000 shares of stock in Eventbrite for a total of $3.1 million, according to the documents filed with the SEC. The sale occurred over two transactions, the first on March 21 when the stock had a share price of $20.86, down nearly 38% from earlier in the month after a lower than expected earnings report and weak guidance for the first quarter of 2019 sent the stock tumbling. Three days later, he sold 90,000 shares for at prices ranging from $21 to $21.315 per share.
PARADIGM HIRES COMEDY TOURING AGENT WILLIAM RODRIGUEZ
Paradigm Talent Agency has announced the hire of William Rodriguez. Rodriguez will serve as an agent in the comedy touring division and will be based out of the LA offices. Rodriguez’s clients include Keenen Ivory Wayans, Piff The Magic Dragon, Tommy Davidson, Chad Prather, Aries Spears and April Macie. Rodriguez joins Paradigm from The Gersh Agency. INSOMNIAC ANNOUNCES LINEUP FOR ELECTRIC DAISY CARNIVAL
The 2019 EDC Las Vegas lineup has been released for the Live Nation-owned festival that Alesso, Alison Wonderland, Armin Van Buuren, Dillon Francis, Diplo, Illenium, Kaskade, Martin Garrix, and Tiësto will be headlining the eight stage festival at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, May 17-29. This year David Guetta returns to EDC for his first performance at the festival since 2012, and actor Idris Elba is continuing his DJ career following a performance at Coachella this April.
