LIVE NATION SCHEDULES SECOND QUARTER EARNINGS CALL

Live Nation has announced that its second quarter earnings call for 2018 will be on July 26. The industry giant will also release its second quarter 2018 financial results after market hours. Michael Rapino, Live Nation Entertainment’s President and Chief Executive Officer, will host a teleconference that day to discuss the company’s financial performance at 5:00 p.m. ET. The teleconference will be available via live webcast at www.investors.livenationentertainment.com.

AEG NAMES NEW CHIEF OPERATING & DEVELOPMENT OFFICER

AEG has promoted Chuck Steedman to Chief Operating and Development Officer, AEG Facilities. Steedman will retain his current title of Chief Operating Officer, overseeing the division’s financial, content development, operational, commercial, and human resources functions. In his new role, Steedman will now also include driving innovation in the areas of revenue enhancement, business intelligence, digital and social marketing and technology enhancements to AEG’s global family of venues. Prior to assuming the COO role with AEG, Steedman served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of the company’s properties in Hartford, Connecticut.


TAYLOR SWIFT TOPS BILLBOARD’S HOT TOURS

Taylor Swift is beating out Kenny Chesney for the top spot on Billboard’s Hot Tours chart. The “Reputation” singer is entering the third leg of her tour after a pair of dates at the high-capacity stadiums (Louisville’s Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium and Columbus’ Ohio Stadium, respectively) on June 30 and July 7 earns $11.5 million. The second highest grossing tour at the moment is also promoted by Messina Touring Group and belongs to Kenny Chesney. Chesney racked up $11 million among five reported dates, running from Utah’s USANA Amphitheatre on June 28 through Seattle’s CenturyLink Field on July 7. The top ten also includes Shania Twain, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, U2, and Maroon 5.
