LIVE NATION NAMES SENIOR OFFICIALS IN NEW ZEALAND
Live Nation has taken further steps to expand its presence in New Zealand this week by naming senior appointments in the market. Veteran entertainment executive of 40 years, Stuart Clumpas, has been named as Chairman of Live Nation New Zealand with Rick Latham and Steve Wheadon appointed to the new roles of Head of Operations and Head of Production, respectively. Continuing in his well-established promotional role, Mark Kneebone has also been promoted to Head of Promotions, overseeing strategic event and talent development, as well as marketing. Live Nation Australasia’s CEO, Roger Field said in a release: “These appointments demonstrate our commitment to New Zealand, and our objective of bringing more events, to more people across the country.”
TAYLOR SWIFT ADDS TWO TOKYO DATES TO REPUTATION TOUR
Taylor Swift’s Reputation Tour is headed to Japan, announcing two nights of performances in Tokyo Nov. 20 and 21 with special guest Charli XCX. The 10-time Grammy award-winner’s Japan concerts will be presented by Fujifilm, highlighting its Instax series of instant cameras. Fujifilm is a global sponsor of the Taylor Swift Reputation Stadium Tour.
VENUWORKS TO MANAGE HOLLAND CIVIC CENTER IN MICHIGAN
VenuWorks has been awarded the management of the Holland Civic Center by the city of Holland, Michigan. With nearly two decades of diverse entertainment business and venue management experience, Barbara Wiggins will utilize her experience in her new role as Executive Director of the Holland Civic Center. Wiggins began in the position on May 7 and said of her new role “I’m looking forward to being part of this exciting endeavor. The commitment and dedication of the Board of Directors of the Holland Civic Center and the community of Holland will help make the city’s progressive vision a reality.”
