NESTE LIVE HIRES RON PATERAS AS TALENT BUYER

As of April 1, Ron Pateras will take on the role of talent buyer for Neste Live. He will join the newly formed subsidiary of Live Nation Entertainment, reporting to Neste Live president Gil Cunningham. Pateras joins the team from Jam Productions, where he spent more than 23 years programming events and booking major headline talent for both private and public concerts. Prior to his 23-year tenure at Jam Productions in Chicago, Pateras spent eight years programming non-classical concerts at Ravinia Festival, the oldest outdoor music festival in North America. “Ron’s remarkable passion for music, longevity in the business and unparalleled expertise in his field make him an invaluable addition to the team,” said Cunningham in a statement. “We’re delighted to have him aboard.”

FORMER LIVE NATION DIRECTOR HIRED AT ANTI-BIAS GROUP INCHORUS

Live Nation’s former director of diversity and inclusion Genevieve O’Neil has joined anti-bias platform InChorus, according to IQ Mag. O’Neil will join the team behind the InChorus platform that tracks incidents of bias and harassment in the workplace as chief marketing officer. InChorus offers employees a trusted way to tag problem behaviors and access support through professional resources. The platform is designed to reduce employee turnover, helps workplaces be proactive about incidents and create a more inclusive culture.


PRISM RAISES $2.2 MILLION FOR BOOKING & MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE

Austin-based software company Prism secured $2.2 million from angel investors for the live music booking and management software. Prism was founded by Austin venue owner and concert promoter Stephen Sternschein (Heard Presents, Empire Control Room and Garage, The Parish and Waterloo Music Festival), alongside tech entrepreneurs Matt Ford (Solstice Live, Solstice Festival, Spotlight.FM) and Adrian Tavares (Solstice Live, Solstice Fest, and Zappos). The streamlined software offers calendars management, one-click integrations with ticketing platforms, offer generation, budgeting, forecasting, revenue tracking, settlement, task management systems and financial reporting to provide one source of truth and real-time data for event details. In just one year, Prism’s software has been adopted by over 100 promoters and 500 venues around the globe, including Disco Donnie Presents & React Presents, Brooklyn Bowl and more.
