TICKETMASTER SAYS T&C VOIDS CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT
Ticketmaster has filed a briefing in a class-action lawsuit the company is facing, saying the company’s terms and conditions include a provision that requires ticket buyers to agree “to submit their claims to binding arbitration, and waive any right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action.” The ticketing company is being sued by ticket buyer Allen Lee after undercover reporters from Canada’s CBC and the Toronto Star detailed how Ticketmaster facilitates the secondary ticketing business. The lawsuit claims violations of the Cartwright Act, California Penal Code, and unfair and fraudulent business practices.
TIM MCGRAW WANTS FANS TO JOIN HIM FOR FOUR DAYS IN HAVANA
Tim McGraw has announced a four-day excursion for his fans in Cuba called One of Those Havana Nights. Between May 23-27, McGraw is inviting fans to see two special performances from him along with events from Cuban artists including legendary Cuban salsa band, Los Van Van and traditional son band Los Tradicionales 50. GARTH BROOKS ANNOUNCES US BANK STADIUM SHOW
Garth Brooks will perform at US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota on May 4. The US Bank Stadium appearance marks one of only five other dates Garth has set for 2019. The country superstar will also play stadiums in Missouri, Arizona, Florida and Philadelphia next year. The Minneapolis date, presented by Amazon Music, will be in-the-round staging as well. Tickets will go on sale Friday, Dec. 14 at 10am CT via Ticketmaster with an eight ticket limit per order.
