KNITTING FACTORY BOISE FIRE LIKELY CAUSED BY CONTRACTOR
A fire that gutted the Knitting Factory in Boise is being blamed on a contractor working on the HVAC system for the business. According to Boise Fire Department, the contractor accidentally created a spark when cutting metal duct work, and the spark spread to nearby materials to ignite the blaze. The structure of the building is expected to be ok, but it will need extensive repairs. A Lizzo concert scheduled for tonight will now be held at the Revolution Concert House in Garden City. All tickets will be honored, according to a Facebook post from the Knitting Factory.
