ADAM FRIEDMAN EXITS BANC OF CALIFORNIA STADIUM
Adam Friedman has left his position at president of Banc of California Stadium, LAFC president and co-owner Tom Penn said Thursday (April 25). “Adam (Friedman) was of great assistance during the completion and opening of Banc of California Stadium, helping us establish the venue in the marketplace, as well as with our innovative staging solution. Before joining us full-time last year, Adam was a valued consultant for Banc of California Stadium Entertainment and will be returning to that role.” Prior to LAFC, Friedman was a consultant and had previously served as president of Nederlander Concerts from 2006 to 2011
KNITTING FACTORY ENT & CMOORE PRESENTS PROMOTE NICK WEST
Knitting Factory Entertainment (KFE) and CMoore Concerts (CMC) have announced the promotion of Nick West to the post of vice president of operations. West will now oversee the companies operations department Knitting Factory Club and Concert Houses across the nation and more. “Nick has undoubtedly been one of the strongest overall production and operation individuals in the business. His combined experience over the years as a director of production, marketing director and project manager will serve him well in his expanded role,” said CMC’s Chris Moore in a release. “His proactive nature, and attention to detail will surely benefit the two organizations as a whole.”
MICHAEL KATZ NAMED CHIEF REVENUE OFFICER FOR DTI MANAGEMENT
DTI Management has named Michael Katz chief revenue officer for the resale online marketplace. Katz joins DTI after almost 14 years at StubHub and will be responsible for all existing revenue lines for DTI and its wholly-owned subsidiary 1Ticket, as well as pursue additional revenue growth through new products and services. Katz will report to CEO Curtis Cheng and be based in Los Angeles. I have done business with Michael for many years when he sat on the StubHub side of the negotiating table, and I was always impressed with his diverse skillset and easygoing personality. We are going to do great things together—for DTI, for our clients and for the industry,” said Cheng in a release.
